Drummer & Percussionist

My work as a musician has allowed me to gain a lot of experience on many stages across Europe over the past 30 years. Concerts and engagement with different musical cultures, including traditional and innovative playing styles of percussion instruments and the drum set, have continuously improved my active playing.

Numerous continent-wide concert tours, including in Luxembourg (Kehlen), Sweden (Stockholm), Norway (Oslo), Turkey (Antalya), France (Nice), Switzerland (Bern), and Greece (Athens), were important cultural milestones in my life.

I work as a permanent member in bands and also as a „hired gun“ for short-term projects, as a session musician, and for productions, both in the studio and live.

I put together my choice of instruments and setups individually for each musical situation. A large selection of drum kits, both „temporary“ and „vintage,“ some of which I have restored myself, mixed with various percussion instruments such as congas, bongos, cajons, bata drums, and other exotic and self-made drums. Combined with fantastic and individual cymbals from Bosphorus, this creates the special soundscapes that define my playing, both when playing with groups and in solo concerts.

As a drummer, I have also developed a unique system for „Open Handed Playing.“ This can be learned from me in lessons.
